What does AXONA do?
AXONA Services Consulting SAS is a Colombian consultancy in management systems and organizational compliance. Since 2004 it has advised more than 500 companies in Colombia and Latin America on implementing ISO standards and on preparing bodies for accreditation.
What is the difference between certification and accreditation?
Certification is granted by a certification body to an organization that demonstrates compliance with a standard, for example ISO 9001. Accreditation is the formal recognition that the certification body —or a laboratory, or an inspection body— is competent to assess. In Colombia accreditation is granted by the National Accreditation Body of Colombia, ONAC.
Which standards and schemes does AXONA cover?
ISO management systems, accreditation under ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17024, internal auditing with ISO 19011, ISO 14001 environmental management, organizational compliance and occupational health and safety. AXONA is itself certified to ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 37001 and ISO 37301.
Where is AXONA located and which territories does it serve?
The operations office is in Bogotá, at Carrera 45 # 108A-50, and the registered office is in Cúcuta. The service area covers Colombia and Latin America, with both on-site and remote support.
